“Florida growers have been asked to give even more money to the CRDF because Rick Dantzler thinks they need to show the state that they have ‘skin in the game’ to show the state when they lobby for research grants. This is a massive wealth transfer from mostly small family farms to big agribusiness like Bayer-Monsanto. Enough is enough,” said Jesse Rojas, Director of Save Citrus.
Rojas made the statement in announcing a second set of radio ads.

“The referendum votes will be counted on Friday, but the fight isn’t over then,” Rojas said. “Our next stop is Tallahassee. Growers aren’t the only ones being taken for a ride, Florida taxpayers are seeing their money wasted too. This has to stop.”
